New Section added

We spent a couple days this week adding a new section to the track. If you've ridden there, what we did was extend the track right where it goes in to the off camber hairpin turn.. It now goes straight down the hill, turns right, and goes back about 75 feet, and turns right(on to the old section that headed west toward the woods), then turns again real quick.. Almost a hairpin.. It then comes back thru the trees to rejoin the track right after the old hairpin turn. Then, after you turn left heading back into the woods, the track doesn't turn left immediately like it did.. But continues into the woods, and around a large radius sweeper to the left. It should rut up nicely and you should be able to rail it, WFO! this continues left until it rejoins the track where you'd run out against the trees.. and up and out of the woods. Over all I think we added another several hundred feet of track. It should be a lot of fun once we get it completed and can open that part. I have the left hand sweeper cleared and clean. Next week, weather permitting we need to remove two stumps, and clean out the new "hairpin" section. Then I can clean it and groom it and get it ready to ride. Should be a lot of fun when it's done. The sweeper will be crazy fast.

Track Progress

We are currently in the process of removing trees and stumps from the woods to complete the track. At this time, we have a 2297 feet "GP Style" track. There aren't any man made jumps, but there is a natural uphill jump that you can get a little air on. The rest of the track consists of fast open sections, and tight slow turns. There are also a few very fast sweeper style turns that you can really open up that big bore 4 stroke on, if you have the guts.

As soon as we clear the 50 or so stumps that are in our way, we'll be moving more of the track into the woods. I'll have pictures posted of the future sections of the track on the main site sometime this week.
